I heard from
Becky today that she has received my birthday package :-) Sadly, I mailed it late. It took me forever to get something together for her, as I was feeling very fussy. I am not overjoyed with the finishing on this - particularly how the roof attaches. It was also very hard to photograph well... But anyhow, with Becky being our Queen Bee, I figured this little honey house would be fun for her...
Honey HouseFrimousse28 ct Platinum Cashel Linen, Crescent Colours and DMC FlossI sent her other items too, and she has shown them in her blog. Happy Belated Birthday, dear friend!!
Off to work on my Christmas Ornament for February now. Do I live in the coldest place on the planet right now? I think not, but close. It was only about 23F most of the day today - LOL!
Stitched on today: Started Christmas ornament for February (will show it tomorrow after it is finished off)

Oh Carol, that is heavenly! And so well chosen for Becky! Once all this snow stops, let's make a trip to ABC to see the new space shall we?
I'm also tagging you for 7 random things. Please stop by my blog to see the details. And I finished putting together my stitchers wallet and posted some photos.
I bet she's over the moon with it!
It looks great Carol!! And well received on Becky's blog :)
Carol that is just divine. You always come up with the neatest things. Our children are telling us they are up to their @@##$ in snow and freezing cold too. Now you know why we winter in AZ. Need a break - come to AZ.
Thank you so much, Carol for the lovely birthday gift! It already has a place of honor among my collections :)
((hugs))
The house is beautiful, Carol!!! Such a creative project! Love it!
Your little house looks great! I bet it went over great with her. :)
Wow! That must have taken ages - it's great. I've never seen anything quite like it before :)
Hope you get some spring soon!

Cute little honey house - I am sure Becky loved it
That is just adorable! I love the idea of stitching a little house.
Our weather problems right now include turning on the AC one minute and then the heater the next. I wish it would just do something and stick to it.
Carol, you did a fabulous job on the little shop !! Great job:)
Have a good weekend:)
How cute! You did a great job!
It looks super and such a thoughtful thing to do!!!!!
Oh Carol it's wonderful and so Becky!
That is lovely Carol!
Your QC and JN are coming along nicely too.
This Honey House is absoultely wonderful. I so enjoy your blog as I read it every day.Since it seems you use Crescent Colors, have you tried the Belle Soie yet? Are either of them good choices? Do they bleed? I am planning a large single color sampler and am considering Belle Soie. Thank you for your input.
Mary.
23F is cold for you? We have had it in the negative numbers here and very snowy, in western NY. Love the gift you gave Becky.
This is a beautiful gift for Becky and if it looks half as nice as the little Dog House you did for Amy then you have no worries :)
That is so cute - I love it!!!! Suz
It´s such a pretty little house !! Your 3D needleworks are so wonderful. I´ve never done them.
You always come up with such great ideas! Wherever do you find them?
I'm sure Becky is thrilled.
More snow expected here overnight. Ugh!!
One local newscaster said he'd rather shovel than shiver but I've had enough of both.
What a perfect house for Becky! looks great!
