Tuesday in the Garden with Jo

It is Garden Spot Sampler SAL night again :-) I hope Jo is busily working away on hers too! I quit a little bit early tonight. Just feeling tired, will be better tomorrow. But I think I caught up on replacing that baby blue with the stunning teal silk now... and a little bit more to finish another motif as well... back on course! Have I mentioned, though, how much I dislike this R&R fabric?

Thanks to all who had sweet words about my Ava. She is a sweetie, we agree :-) But, she is also an imp and gets into an awful lot of trouble too :-)

Also thanks for the nice comments on my Neighborhood RR progress - Barbara, I usually do the details last too, but last night I was a bit caught up in watching two back to back episodes of "24" to be able to do any other parts of the design... the backstitching, at least, did not require as much counting :-)

New DVD Release Tuesday - we are watching Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire right now, and also got Prime (which will be another farce poking fun at psychologists, but oh well!!)

Stitched on today: Papillon Creations Mystery Sampler and Garden Spot Sampler

This sampler looks terrific, Carol? What's wrong with the fabric? It looks good to me, but that doesn't say anything about what it feels like to stitch on it. Hope you're feeling better today.

I totally understand how you feel about movies about psychologists. I can't watch movies or tv shows that feature professors or teachers. It's such a superficial understanding of the work! (And forget about Alias when she was a grad student. At least they had the sense to cut that nonsense!)

My this is what I get for having to stay away from the blogs for so long. You've made some wonderful progresses on your WIPS. There's just so many of them to write back individually and still try to catch up with some others. Keep up the good work. Ava is adorable. She seems like a little scamp. I also picked up Goblet of Fire yesterday as well couldn't resist.

me again - I forgot to say that I'd love to do a SAL on Forest Goddess with you, shall we "pencil in it" for sometime after we've both finished the Mermaids? I've yet to decide on fabric of her so will need to start thinking about a choice :)what did you decide on for her Carol?

Your RR is gorgeous! Makes me want to pop in there for a spot of tea, lol. I love how you're doing the door! Harry Potter is on the nightstand right now just waiting for an opportune moment to pop himself into the machine. I rented, but payday, he's jumping into my cart.
