Almost there... not quite yet... but really soon!

It's my own fault, really. If I hadn't taken forever to get myself started tonight, I would have finished Part 9 of MTM.... but I did get very close. I could have finished, really. But instead, I have opted not to stitch the four jessica stitches in the big center building (they form what are supposed to be the stained glass windows) tonight - it is late and I want to stitch those with a fresher mind. They aren't difficult, but they look stupid if you do them wrong - LOL! So, I will do them tomorrow evening. We have plans during the day to visit Mike's mother. It will, of course, be a tremendous relief to be done with these buildings. It's already a relief!

I got up earlier than Mike this morning, and I put a little bit of time in on Harvest Moon while the house was so quiet. I really love this sampler :-)

Some things I have been noticing about stitching bloggers.... 1) they are generous people, always looking to share with others; 2) almost all have an affinity for Carriage House Samplings; 3) many of us have a stack of Little House Needleworks charts, with Coffee Menu on the "must stitch" list - LOL! Just my frequent observations.... :-)

Stitched on today: Harvest Moon and Medieval Town Mandala

MTM is a stunning piece Carol! Not long to go on the buildings now.

Nice progress on Harvest Moon too - congratulations!

Not long to go now and you can breathe that huge sigh of relief, Carol.

Harvest Moon is looking great too.

As for your observations about stitching bloggers, well until I started reading other blogs, I didn't have any CHS charts (actually I still don't, I only have a freebie), or LHN, but I have a couple of those to stitch now :)

Enjoy your weekend.

And yes, I've noticed the same, especially the generosity and LHN patterns! :)

I have really enjoyed watching MTM grow. It is a beautiful piece. I would love to see a close up of the Jessica stitches. I haven't heard of them. I am speciality stitch-challenged. :0)
I do like CHS charts. Kathy is a really nice lady too. I can't wait to get my hands on The Village!
I also have many LHN in my to stitch pile include both Coffee Menu and Coffee Spot. :0)

You have done a fabulous job on MTM. It was quite a project to take on and knowing how much work you have put into it, I hope it will be displayed where all can see and admire it. Good for you!

Enjoy your weekend

My word Carol, that MTM is becoming a big piece. Looking lovely and those colours are just so vibrant.

Harvest Moon is looking good too... I have this in my 'to do' pile too.

And yes, those LHN charts are just so cute and such lovely stitches.

Carol I had to laugh when reading your observations this morning ,I just received my CHS charts in the post yesterday (these are not available in NZ ) and at present I'm stitching Home of a Needleworker by LHN and have the Coffee Menu lined up as my next project ,your observations seem to be dead on the money lol.
