Today was Day #2 at Celebration. I did not have any classes today - I went for the shopping and to be with friends. The shopping mart was wonderful this year, but I have only just realized that I forgot to take a photo of my new stash! OK, that will give me something to write about tomorrow :-) I had fun again with Jo, Margaret, Jenn and Mary in the shopping mart... and came across Patti, Joyce and Nancy too! So nice to see and visit with everyone! Most of my friends had classes today, but Jenn and Mary got out in time for us to take a quick ride out to The World in Stitches in Littleton, Massachusetts, a mere 20 minutes from the hotel, and we had a little stash fest there and a really nice visit with Randi, the owner. Randi pointed out to us that a nest of baby birds is now inhabiting a nook atop one of the lanterns on the side of her building. While I took no photos of friends today, I did manage a shot of the nest... and if you click on it to enlarge, and look closely enough, you can see one small head peeping out at you :-) How sweet!! The little jaunt to TWIS was well worth the extra time and mileage to see Randi and the baby birds :-)
I am way off of my rotation with Celebration and with relatives staying at the house... but I did spend time getting serious work in on an exchange piece that will be finished tomorrow (yay!) - and some time in on Barbara's Neighborhood Round Robin... one more ewe - although neither have noses yet... can you tell yet what design this is? LOL!!
I am soooo far behind in blog reading - but I am thinking of each and every one of you! I don't know if I can fit in another trip back to Celebration tomorrow - so many plans are being made here with the houseguests.... But one thing I do plan to do is catch up on blogs no matter what else I do!! I miss reading about your lives and stitching, dear friends!!
Stitched on today: Stitched on an exchange piece, and Barbara's Neighborhood Round Robin

Oh, that Annemarie! I swear she's given up sleeping to get all the things done that she has been doing! Love the adorable - wacky! - thread holder and the charming PS design.
And speaking of loving designs, my 'back brain' is screaming that it knows the answer to the design on my NRR, but through all the 'noise' in my front brain (kids especially!) I can't hear it. I love it, whatever it is!
Sounds like you're having a great time! :-)
Love the thread holder - it's simply adorable!
Beautiful PIF gift! How lovely to meet up with so many stitching friends
Annemarie outdid herself once again!! It's absolutely beautiful!!
And as for the RR - also looking pretty spectacular - is that a Praiseworthy Stitches design????
It sounds like you're having a great time! Lovely picture of the baby bird and nest.
What a lovely gift!
I haven't visited your blog for a couple of weeks, so I just have to say - I *LOVE* your new template - it's beautiful!
What a gorgeous gift from Annemarie - a lovely surprise to come home to.
The baby bird is so sweet. Nature at it's best.
The thread holder is beautiful! Sounds like you are having fun:)
Have a great weekend!
As always Annemarie does the most beautiful work, it's so pretty. Hope you manage to get to Celebrations today and find a tiny bit of stitching time :-).
Glad to hear that you are having a wonderful time at celebrations.
Heehee, glad you like it Carol. I forgot to take pics myself. Can I steal yours?
Happy blog-reading!
The baby bird was so cute. We have several pairs of canada geese around here and they have been out with their babies lately, they are such adorable little fluff balls and it is such fun to see the families just walking along.
The thread holder was lovely, what a nice gift to get.

Oh how adorable :) An has been secretly stitching away to surprise us with her PIF's. I'm glad that you had a great time of fun and stashing at the CONW :) Good for you! You need and deserve a little fun! Hugs!
Hi Carol: Oh I too am a little behind on my blog reading but wanted to come in and tell you how pretty your blog is!! I love your new things in here! I love this little Prairie Schooler fob! It is so cute! Thank you so much for your really sweet comments in my blog! You made my day telling me that you and Jenn were thinking of me! That is really nice and I am grinning from ear to ear! I hope my Christmas House will look nice when finished. I actually can say I have half of it done! Woo Hoo!! Debby :)
I'm sorry we couldn't meet up, Saturday was really my main day up there and it sounds like Friday was yours! I loved the shopping area this year and I of course spent more than planned :)
World In Stitches - what a great idea to head down there, I always forget there's a store there, when we move out that way I'll be passing by on my way home from work!
What a wonderful time you've had at Celebration! Thanks for sharing some of the fun. :D
I'm dreadfully behind on my blog reading after my vacation and recovery from vacation! Guess I'll just keep plugging away a little at a time. I've got the number down to below 400 so my next goal is to get down to 300.
What a great PIF. Barbara's RR is looking great!
Carol!!! So happy you're back and that you had a great time with everyone. I just love the darling threadholder and pincushion from Annemarie!! Just love things with girls on them...my favs!!! Don't forget to give us a little "birds-eye-view" of the stash you collected from your Celebrations trip. Hugs, Deb
