Disorganized Mind
What a day. My mind has been everywhere, and spending little time at any place. I really tried to stitch today. I did stitch today... on three different things, and had no focus. I would stitch for a few minutes, put it down and do something else. I think my biggest distraction is, by far, trying to get the HoE exchanges cleaned up. There are still scissor fobs that have not been received, and now I am having problems reaching some of the biscornu exchangers.... decisions need to be made in order to get these finished and have everyone be happy. I may need to call on some of my stitching angels...
In the meantime, here is a bit more of A Quaker Christmas to show. I am working away on a really pretty star shaped large motif.
Yay, I have tomorrow off, and now I need to stop blogging, because Beau wants to be in my lap very badly. And since it is his 11th birthday tomorrow, I guess I will let him boss me around.
Stitched on today: Started a Crazy Exchange, stitched on Here's To Ewe Exchange, and stitched on A Quaker Christmas

A Quaker Christmas looks amazing!
It's too bad you're having trouble with exchangers. Do people receive parcels and never send out to their partner??
Hope you're able to find some focus. We all have days like that.
Happy Birthday Beau!
Happy Birthday to Beau...which one of the six is he? QC looks great! Makes me want to start mine but I can't juggle very many projects. :)
YOur Quaker Christmas is looking very good. Both you and Vonna deserve big hugs for all you do for the exchanges. I don't know how you cope with it all. We (reliable) stitchers appreciate so much everything you do to keep us on track and up to date.
No point trying to compete with a cat! lol
Quaker Christmas is stunning!
I'm really enjoying your progress on QC! Happy Birthday to Beau too!
Happy Birthday to Beau!
You are doing an amazing job on Quaker Christmas.
Happy birthday to Beau!
I know we all appreciate every (considerable) ounce of effort you put into the HOE - that's what makes it such a brilliant exchange, so thank you for that!
QC is looking great, I do like that star motif.
QC is looking so great Carol :)
And don't make yourself sick over the exchange...I understand all about that...Have a great weekend ;)
It's a very nice Quaker, I don't know if I would be able do something so long !!
Don't worry for the exchanges, I'm sure everything will be ok soon !!
Happy Birthday, Beau! Please give him a little scratch from me.
I hope that you are able to smooth out the exchange issues. I would offer to stitch, if you need help, but I'm afraid that my stitching time has been too limited lately to be quick. Depression makes me sleep a lot. I'm sure that you'll find helpers if you end up needing them, though. There are a lot of speedy stitchers out there!
Quaker is looking so pretty. Glad to hear you are spoiling Beau, haven't heard an update on him in a bit. Wish him Happy Birthday for me.
Sue
Quaker Christmas is looking great. You will get it done eventually, the odd day off isn't going to make much difference in the grand scheme of things.
I didn't sign up for the biscornu exchange, but if you need an "angel" do let me know.
Quaker Christmas is looking so fine.
Try not to stress too much over the exchanges.
Happy Birthday Beau!
Hang in there with the exchanges!! I sent you an e-mail : )
Quaker Christmas looks super!!!!
Gorgeous piece, Carol! It's a fantastic start. And happy birthday to Beau
Days like that, I just go online... hopping from blog to blog seems to satisfy a distraced mind!
Your QC is gorgeous. I hope that you can get everything settled with the exchangers - that must be kind of frustrating and worrisome. If you need any help, let me know.
