No Happy Dance Yet

I can't believe I am still working on this sampler... I got a bit of the personalization done tonight, but I have one line of that left to go, and then a little decorative band below that... maybe tomorrow.... I have to do the personalization in hand, and that makes my work much, much slower...
There is a new addition to my brother's family this weekend :-) My brother, his wife and the three girls have been looking for a puppy for some time now. They lost, Sarge, their black shepherd, about two years ago, of old age. Yesterday I got an excited call from Nicole, my middle niece.... Nobska had arrived!! (My SIL named her... she is from Cape Cod, and according to Nicole, Nobska is a boat race?? - I just researched it, Nobska is a lighthouse in Woods Hole, MA on the Cape, where my SIL is from). Anyhow, this morning I got an email with pictures so I shall share them. That is Erin, my youngest niece, cuddling her new puppy in the second photo. According to the email, Nobska was born on 7/9/05. I hope to drive down there soon to meet her :-)

Chatelaine lovers, please make sure you go over to Stitching Bits & Bobs - Martina has created a beauty for the New Orleans Hurricane Relief, and the info is right at the link for you to join in and get the gorgeous chart - I am posting the pic, which is copyright Martina Weber 2005...

Red Sox 5, Orioles 1, which is great... but Ryan Newman fell one tiny point below the race for the chase tonight, so now he has to race his socks off next weekend to get into the Chase... sigh. What would life be if it were not exciting, right?
And, I caught my three little girls - Ava, Lily and Anouk, all curled up and sleeping together in Mike's seat on the sofa late tonight... aw.... aren't they sweet?

The puppy is lovely Carol and will fill a hole in the family it is now with I am sure.

Your CBS is coming along a treat and it will be another finish for you in no time.

I have been following hurricane Katrina too, gosh what a mess, and I am so pleased that aid is now reaching these poor people. One person has a lot sort out for the slowness of aid for sure.

Puppy is adorable. Celtic Sampler may be a pain with the handwork, but it's very close. You know that it won't be long now.

Your cats look so cute lying together like that. I could only see two at first, but I finally made out the 3rd face :) Thomas and Maisie never get that close to one another LOL!

Go, Carol, Go! on CBS - not much more to go now and it looks fabulous!
