Getting much closer now

My first finish of 2006 is finally approaching! I am getting quite close now on Celtic Winter. I finished the stitching of the left side border at work today, with ten minutes left to spare of my break (so I ate my lunch!!). Tonight I started the beading. I have to finish beading the two side borders, and then I still need to stitch the outermost border. That part is easy and can be done at work... so finally, I have a Happy Dance forthcoming! Finally!!

Q. Comment on your comments (giving and recieving): Do you love comments
or hate them? Do you check them every day, never check them, or find
them helpful? And finally, are you convinced no one is reading your
blog if you don't get any?

A. Yes, I love getting comments in my blog, and I do read them all. Sometimes I check in on them at work while I am reading other blogs. I love meeting people through the comments they leave... I make new friendships that way, get great offers to trade charts, learn some new stitching tips... it's one of the best parts of blogging. I also love to leave comments for other bloggers. I usually do get comments, and my counter shows that I get plenty of hits, so I get the idea that people do read my blog. But, it is really my own stitching journal, and it truly amazes me how many people actually do read it :-)

That's great. Good for you that you have another happy dance coming along. Do you know already which project will replace this one once it is done? Are you continuing on this project now until it is finished?

You're so right about blogging - it's opened many doors of friendship for me too ... and quite frankly made the world a much happier and positive place - without blogging I wouldn't have met you and others ... and you're a sweetheart - giving and generous, and talented :D

Looking forward to seeing that Happy Dance happening - I've put my dancin' shoes to one side ready to slip into them ;P CW is looking Awesome with a capital "A: :))

And thanks again for the birthday gift and wishes, my friend :)) {hugs}

Wonderful the hear that you're getting close. I do so love the looks of her. Which of your other WIPS is going to take her place or will her spot end up a stitch what I please?
As for the blogging, I too have met some wonderful people out there. (you're one of them) Also I never dreamed there was so much you could finish stitching off to. All the info and the kindness are a wonder to behold. We have a wonderful community.

CW is beautiful!! Are you going to have her framed?
I agree that leaving/receiving comments has lead to some great friendships. I have to confess that you were the first person to leave me a comment. I literally jumped from the computer dancing that someone was actually interested in what I was stitching.

You just motor through these big projects, Carol! I'm so jealous. ;) I live vicarously through everyone's large finishes, since I haven't done but one for myself (and that was a long time ago!). I can't wait to see her finished. *hug*
