Reviving Winter Into Spring/M9 Part 5 is Done

I was feeling really inspired today by Isabelle's beautiful finish of DT's Summer Into Autumn... as well as by Katrina's relatively recent finish of DT's Winter Into Spring... so I dug out my old Winter Into Spring WIP/UFO... who knows when I started this... it came out in 1998, and that is probably when I started it! I worked a bit on the "spot motif" band, and even stitched the year this afternoon, to reinforce my finishing it soon!! It was fun, and I am glad I took it back out. Who knows, maybe it will motivate me to pick up An Open Heart again... Now on to M9 again...

And... Bless Martina for giving another small section for Mystery IX... Part 5 is done now. I loved the pinky (WL Rose Blush) eyelets in these two garden triangles... so delicate and sweet! So, since there is still quite a long time to go on the laundry right now, I will go back to Winter Into Spring :-)

We planted some super pretty shrub roses today, called "Pink & Proud," and one Explorer Shrub Rose in a pale baby pink too... can't wait for them to bloom now! It's that time of the year now when my stitching needs to share time with my gardening :-)

Stitched on today: Winter Into Spring and Mystery IX

Hi Carol!
Wonderful to see you working on an older WIP - and what a lovely one! DT is one of my favorite designers.

Hi Carol, MIX looks just wonderfull, congrats on finishing that part. Also love your DT, I have some in my stash, but no time to stitch them yet.
By the way through week days (for me monday, tuesday and wednesday) I can't stitch more than 2 hours too. On thursdays I have half the day off and than it depends on the things I have to do that day, most of the time I will stitch around 4 hours or less and in weekends I always change between stitching and quilting and than it depends on how much I have to do on my quilting.

Oooooh... I had no idea you had Winter into Spring among your WIPs! Only too glad my finish could inspire you to pick it up... It's so pretty! I'll have to do that one some day as well (... maybe next Autumn? LOL!)

They really stitch up quick, especially when you've gone beyond the spot motifs area. You'll be done in no time! :)

Beautiful finish on Mystery, Carol. Spring looks lovely too. Now that I have a camera (been without for over 2 years now), I'm going to be snap happy LOL.

It must feel really good to pull out an old WIP. You'll have it done in no time. :)

Congratulations on finishing the lastest part of M9 so quickly. You'll have a lot to do on the next part of MTM! ;)

I can't wait to see those shrub roses in bloom. They'll be gorgeous!
