Changes to Wendy's RR

I couldn't stand it. Even though Wendy gave me positive feedback about having the full pink border around my house, I did tonight what I really wanted to do last night... but it was too late at night to do it. I removed 3/4 of the border. I like it much better and feel the whole neighborhood is going to flow properly this way. OK with you Wendy?? The hills will come down to almost the pink border at the bottom. I just haven't gotten there yet. OK, now I feel better, and wonder what possessed me to stitch the border in the first place?? (I think it was because I was distracted watching the Red Sox home opener when I started this yesterday).

I thought it looked wonderful before. But you know what you are going for in the overall look and whether or not it was working for you. It is looking great!

I think it looks much nicer without the whole border - more in keeping with the rest of it.

I do agree Carol. I think the border looks much nicer now.

Although it looked nice with the full border, I think it looks better now, and matches the other blocks a bit more closely. Good call - although it's never nice to frog!

I agree - not that I disliked it with the border - but it does 'flow' better now.

I have to say too that I think it looks better without the whole border. It fits in better with the rest of the RR. Great work Carol, look forward to seeing the finished piece.
