It's been a while...

It's been a really long while since I stitched on Mermaid Heaven. Jenn and I started this as a SAL back sometime in 2005. I worked on it really diligently for the longest time, and then 2006 came and I was really involved with two huge Chatelaine projects. As a result, this got put aside. Tonight, with no Barnabee's Quest to stitch any longer, I got to sort through some projects that have been neglected... and chose this one. After all, there is already a stitcher waiting in the wings to adopt this chart when I finally finish. It was all about stitching a rock on this tonight - LOL!! I am hoping, as I always do, to find more time for this and to finally get it done soon!

Stitched on today: Started a gift, and Mermaid Heaven

Did you get my email about the SAL?

What a gorgeous piece! I do not have her but she is absolutely stunning! I find when I get out of the stitching mode - it takes a while to get back into it - but then I realize how much I missed it ! Keep pluggin' along - she is a beauty!

I've not picked up mine in the longest time either. But, you know me...such a project jumper. I know I'll get back to her soon. She is just to pretty not to work on.

It's so nice to see the Mermaid again. It doesn't look like you have much more left to stitch! Have a great weekend Carol :)

Like everyone else agrees, it's beautiful - hope it doesn't languish too much longer. It's screaming for a fabulous frame soon. :-)

That's beautiful, I haven't seen you post a picture of her before. The theme and the colors are lovely, as well as the fabric complementing it so well. Hope to keep seeing more of her.

This mermaid is so pretty, Su has done or was doing this one years ago. I got the chart for her myself cos I liked her...not that I'm likely to ever get round to stitching her ;-)

How nice to see this come out again!! Will she become part of your regular rotation now that Barnabee is completed? :) She is truly beautiful!
