It is Bordeaux Sampler night again. Due to my sinuses bothering me, I really didn't stitch as long as I normally would, and I also spent a lot of time mulling over charts to figure out the next gift I will stitch (without success tonight) - but here is Bordeaux now - more boxers and another basket, plus some grapes in the right side border. Now I know I am at the halfway point, because the grapes in the border are now pointing up instead of down!
Thank you so much to everyone who left a comment or emailed me with a suggestion for what to add next on Rachael's Neighborhood Round Robin! I am so glad I posted the plea last night! I received the greatest ideas - each and every one was fantastic! Some ideas have already gelled together for when I stitch on it next! Thank you! The whale tails from Brightneedle's Nantucket Sampler are definitely happening!
I am getting a little worried. Some of the gifts I recently stitched and posted off may not have reached their destinations yet. I feel a bit impatient :-)
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr... it is so cold here! It barely broke 20F here today, and tomorrow should be about the same!

(((((((HUGS))))))))) Carol...I hope you feel better very soon! Bordeaux looks beautiful!
Blessings,
Julie
AAw sinus troubles are a major pain! Sorry to hear it.
Bordeau is looking lovely - I love the rich colours in this one. I did some grapes once in Indigo Rose's "My Son" and they were circular rhodes type stitches...fun to do...and very grape-like :)
Feel better soon....
Oh - sinuses! I am so sympathetic.
I've tried repeatedly to email you but comcast is determined that I'm a nasty spammer. Don't worry about mailing the SB chart - I'm up to my eyebrows in stitching and won't be able to get to it for awhile. ;)
Your trip to Bordeux is a lovely journey - and congratulations on those up-pointing grapes! LOL!
Take care of those sinuses, okay?
Wow that is really lovely! Who is the design by? Excuse my ignorance lol.
Your Bordeaux is coming along nicely, Carol.
Congrats on hitting the half way mark on Bordeaux! I love the idea of the whale tails. What a fun piece. Glad you got some good suggestions to help. Hope the sinus stuff goes away soon - that is not fun!
Oh my...hope the sinuses clear up soon!
Whale tails...now that's a great idea :)
And your BS is just lovely!
I hope you feel better soon, Carol.
Everything is looking great!
I can't wait to see what you choose for your RR! Things are getting warmer here in Illinois, hopefully it's coming east for you. :-)
Hugs to you Carol! I hope that you are feeling better! I too am plagued by allergies and yesterday I didn't get any stitching done due to the antihistimes I took! Ugh. Tree pollen is running rampant here. Your Bordeaux Sampler is coming along so nicely!! Very pretty! I salute you to be able to stitch at all when you have sinus! You are an inspiration!
Debby :)
Nice progress on Bordeaux! LOL at the grapes pointing up, heheh.
Hope you're feeling perkier today. I know sinus well and you have my sypathies.
Bordeaux looks like its almost finished! Wow!
Your PIF from Sonja is pretty fantastic!
Hope you feel better soon!
Bordeaux looks great, hope you are feeling better soon.
Halfway through the Bordeaux Sampler! Congrats! Its a lovely piece and looking even better all the time. Sinus trouble is no fun - I hope you feel better soon.
Woohoo, you've caught me up! I felt the same way when I hit those 'up' grapes ... it feels wonderful! :D Sorry I've been missing our SAL - I hope to get an hour in today once I've finished the Etui pieces I need to, then I can get back to weekly stitching with you again (even if only for an hour each week until after my class) :) Your PIF from Sonya is lovely - and your RR is looking great ... love the whale tails idea :D
Carol you have my sympathy, I hate waiting to hear if packages have safely made it to their destinations - I am waiting to hear about a package I posted two weeks ago and going CRAZY!
Bordeaux is looking fabulous as usual!
Bordeau is looking lovely. I didn't notice the grapes when I first looked, that must be fun seeing them point the other way when you are working and knowing you're at the half way point.
Hope you're feeling better soon.
