Mermaids Update

I chose to work on the Mermaids tonight, and as always, I am glad I did :-) It has been so hot here, and these mermaids looked cool and refreshed in the ocean. I hope to put a few more days in on this one this month.

Someone asked if I am doing Paradigm Lost over 2 on 40 ct... yes, over 2. I am doing over 1 on 40 ct for some small portions of Bordeaux Mystery Sampler, but I would not choose to do a full sampler over 1 on 40 ct.... Newcastle is by far my favorite linen, though. And, thanks to those who complimented my color choices, especially since the overexposed photo does not show the colors at all well :-)

Stitched on today: Blessings Be Thine (I plan to post a WIP photo soon) and Mermaids of the Deep Blue

Your mermaids are looking spectacular! All your pieces are lovely, but Blogger's been a tad temperamental recently and not letting me comment.

Oh they look wonderful. Nice and cool indeed! What fabric is it? I know you'll have told us before but I can't remember. It's very pretty and just right for them :)

Wow they look fantastic. I am no where near catching you up on this one at the moment. I haven't stitched properly for 3 wks now, but picked up The Mighty Samurai last night for the first time in months. Hopefully will have an update for you soon.

They are so beautiful. I'll be stitching them as soon as I'm done Summer Fairy Spirit, or maybe when I'm done MHT which will be done first. Watching your Mermaids grow is giving me inspiration to get started, if I could just find the right linen, hopefully that will happen soon.

If I know Sue, she will have linen for those mermaids picked out very soon. She is the linen queen. The mermaids look incredible. Nice Job. I can't believe you do 40ct over 1. please tell me you use a magnifier. I do like over 1 a lot though, isn't it fun? I did a lot of over 1 on 32 ct in Hillsdie Samplings House Samplings piece. Ann.

Your mermaids are beautiful - they are progressing really well even with a lot of your time taken up with MTM. Nice car your hubby's got there!!

Looking good Carol! It makes me want to pick up mine and work on it (along with all the other pieces in my stash).

Wow I saw Paradigm Lost on Jo's site and it's BIG! That will keep the 2 of you busy for a while. :P

Mikes car is really cool looking. I might have to come up for a ride in it....and of course some stah shopping.
