Just a little...

I got a really late start on 18th Century Band Sampler tonight, so I don't really have a lot of progress to show. I have a good excuse (not that I need an excuse in my stitching blog!) - I spent the better part of my stitching time today making a very good start on the next upcoming birthday gift. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel with Part 1 now :-)

And, speaking of Long Dog Samplers... have you all seen this new beauty just being released now?

I believe this one is called St. Reatham. Oh my gosh, it is a huge one, but it may well be a must stitch! I even love the burgundy color used for the model. I can tell this one will take a long time to stitch (I think it's 380 x 293), but I don't think I will be able to help myself with resisting this one! I have already decided this will be on my wish list, and someday when I get to go stash shopping again, it will be a priority.

In the interim, there is another group of hand dyed fabrics that I will be posting for sale again in the next day or two - Angus' bills are coming due again :-) If there is anything I would give up stash buying for, it would be one of my loved ones, be it family, friend or cat :-)

Sincerest apologies are due to a friend today... she knows who she is. I love you :-)

Hey, we might have a big snow storm coming in on Valentine's Day! Might being the operative word, but I get the feeling we will be getting something at last!

Ahhh...the beauty in your work...the LDS is looking great...the new one is fab!

We're supposed to get a lot of precipitation here too...in what form is still up in the air...but it's been COLD here the last 2 weeks and I'm sure it will not be rain...they are predicting ice - snow - ice - snow...we're already anticipating DH staying home from work tomorrow...he has to drive 45 mins. to work...so I think he's staying home. Be careful :)

I hope that we get some good snow tomorrow, as well. We are long overdue for a REAL snowfall and Terry even finally put the snowblower onto the riding mower, so it just HAS to snow now. ;)

The band sampler looks great! The LD sampler looks a bit out of my league, I think, as I've still to break into the joys that are Samplers.........weakening all the time though, lol. THere's a Paradigm Lost chart out there with my name on it..........or there will be, one of these days, lol. (so many projects - so little time)

No-one wants my offer of pif's though :(
Yours is the only comment so far (thanks for that), would you like to take one Carol?

You don't have much progress to show on 18th Century Sampler?!?!? No, dear...I don't have much progress to show on mine!! LOL! You have gotten so far along on yours. I must say though that yours is such an inspiration to me to catch up! It's looking good. The St. Reatham you have entered into your wish list is beautiful, I don't blame you for wanting to do that. I will no be attempting that one...to much on my list to add another!

That Long Dog is a must do for me as well! I used to live in Streatham, so StReatham is calling! Fancy a SAL some time in the future? :)
