Barnabee Update

This portion of Barnabee's Quest moved along rather quickly tonight, and now I am thinking that I would really like to finish it up quickly so that I can start Lanarte's Spring Ride SAL with Karen C. as soon as possible. I have enjoyed every minute of this SAL, but will also be glad to finish it and finally start Spring Ride. I am so frustrated with myself, though, for starting too low on my fabric. I will have to give some real thought to how I will be able to finish this off. I think I can technically still get it framed, but I am not used to leaving such a small margin at the bottom.

I forgot to mention yesterday that I received my confirmation from Celebration for the Catherine Strickler class and for my membership for this year. Good to have that finalized now :-)

Stitched on today: Stitched on an exchange project, and Barnabee's Quest

Barnabee's Quest is just really beautiful Carol!! You just get so much done!! I am in awe!! I hope that your kitties are all doing well and I am happy to say that none of my little dogs have eaten any of the tainted food we are hearing about. I think about all the animals and hope yours are all doing well too. Beautiful progress on your stitching! Debby :)

Woowee, Carol! It looks great. And don't worry about the small margin allowance, it'll work out fine.

Take care and have a great weekend. :)

Hi there Carol - I noticed on your wish list that you have the Christmas Fairy - I have a pattern which was part of an inclusuion in a English cross stitch magazine... If you are still after it please let me know and I can send it to you...

Wow your progress on Barnabee's Quest is coming along.

I got my Celebration Confirmation too. What day is the class your taking?

Barnabee is just beautiful! You can always add some muslin to the end if you want to frame him. That's what our framer (the guilds) always have the ladies do.

Katherine Strickler is one of my favorite designers, I'm so envious!

It looks like you will finish Barnabee very soon! You could make it into a bell pull if you didn't want to frame it. I haven't had my confirmation yet :( My credit card hasn't been debited either so I might contact them next week if I don't hear anything in the next few days. Have a great weekend!

You got a lot done, it looks great. Being so close to finishing now, I can see why you'd want to stick with it.

BTW, got the fabric today, thanks.

I can't believe how fast you stitch, I thought you started this yesterday lol! :D It's beautiful. You could always make it into a wall hanging, instead of framing it. There are some pretty fabrics out there that would look great with it.

Oh wow, that looks fabulous! I'm back to working on mine. I would like to get it finished too. I plan to make mine in a bellpull.

You have very little left to do! I can't believe that you didn't just go ahead and do it. :)
