More Paradigm Lost

A bit more Paradigm Lost tonight... I don't know about Jo, but I am getting kind of bored with this huge motif with the hearts... am looking forward to moving on in another direction soon.

I heard from Dani today that she received my birthday gift for her - and on her real birthday too! The post from here to Canada is quite slow... slower than to Australia... so it was just a guess at when to get this in the post. I know how much Dani loves fantasy designs, but all of the ones I liked were by Jennifer Aikman-Smith, and of course, Dani has stitched all of those - LOL! But then I came across this little Celtic Knot and it made me think of our SAL we did with Katrina a year or two ago - we did Celtic Band Sampler - and thus, I stitched this - I am so glad Dani likes it!
Square Celtic Knot Fob
Dragon Fire Designs
36 ct Sand Edinburgh linen & Dinky Dyes Silk - Fantasy Blues
Stitched 3/13/07 - 3/16/07

I found Angus hiding under this little table Mike has in his desk/programming area - typical programmer, he has tons of software and cables lying about in this area... Angus likes it! He is starting to get grey in some areas... vet techs out there, is this a sign of a deficiency, or is it a black cat that just turned six years old?

I like that fob, it's really neat! I've never seen one like that before. PL is so pretty. And Angus looks so grumpy all of the time, it just makes me laugh :D

Wow that heart motif looks big! I like the little fob too. As for angus, when our black kitty was getting up there she too turned grey in certain areas. Its a sign of old age.

It may be a bit boring to stitch but the heart motif looks great Carol:)

Fun fob, I like the design you picked for it. PL is looking good too.

Neat picture of Angus, he kind of looks like he is peeking out from a cave just daring you to try and bother him. Not sure on kitties, but both my dogs are all black, and as they are getting older I'm finding more grey/silver hair turning up in their fur. I would think it would be the same for cats.

How cute. Angus looks to be saying to the cable plugs 'you make one move and i'm going to get you.'

The heart motif is one of my favorites. It will look great when it's done.

That fob is absolutely beautiful! And why do cats find the strangest places to relax? Angus is adorable! I did have him in mind when I picked my adopt a pet animal last week.

Love the fob Carol. You always pick designs which are so appropriate for the recipient. I'm totally with you on the heart motif. That's why I have been avoiding it for the past 2 weeks lol! I actually started the motif to the left last night. I don't know why that heart one isn't so fun to stitch as it's one of my favourites to look at. BTW, Margaret is in my class at Celebrations. Isn't that cool :)

Angus looks like a real cutie in that picture...THOSE eyes...amazing :)
Your PL is stunning...but dear Carol, I would have been tired with the whole thing by the time the first corner was finished...I just have no patience for large entricate designs! My loss!
It is looking lovlier each Wednesday morning :)

Carol, i'm sorry your Angus gets old. I like cats but they give me allergy. So i look at them from distance.
Your Paradigm still make me feel that i should begin mine.

Gosh, if black cats (and dogs!) gray with age, what will happen to my gray kitty??? She'll just fade away!!! LOL

Love the fob :) As to Angus, he's probably just getting older... my parents have an all black cat, and she's just startting to get gray on the ends of her fur-- she's 5, I think. We tease that's she's getting dusty LOL

I just love all the little fobs you make for your friends. You have inspired me to start looking for fob patterns so that I can make some gifts for my friends. Do you also give them the scissors? The scissors always match the fob so nicely.

Angus is so adorable! I love your projects!

Great progress on PL, it's getting quite large now. :)

Animals may develop white markings over areas where there was an injury to the animal, either to cover scar tissue from a cut or abrasion, or to reflect harm to the underlying skin or nerves. Angus might have to wait for his pension a bit longer!

Take care.

PL is looking fabulous! The heart motif will look beautiful when you're done. The fob looks great too.

My black kittie got quite a few grey hairs as she grew older, just in a few places. She lived to the ripe old age of 19 and she didn't go completely grey!

Carol, Good stash selections! The sampler one you chose has wonderful, rich colors. I've looked at it, too, but worried I would have too many house stitchings going on (HOHRH & VOHRH)and it would mess with my Chatelaine Designs mind for the timebeing!! LOL Never enough time to make all the stitches count..:)
Your PL looks fabulous, though, so obviously you can mix houses and mandalas with no prob!

Cute fob! Great choice for her. Othello is getting a little sprinkling of grey on his shoulders as he is getting older. I've notice it a little in his tail too. That looks like a place my kitties would love to hang out too...excellent sleeping spot.
