Garden Spot SAL Night

It's Tuesday, and right now Tuesdays are Garden Spot Sampler SAL nights with Jo! So, here is a little more progress for tonight - I finally reached the bottom of the sampler on the far left side tonight, and also stitched one more grey rosebud... This is a huge piece. My picture, unfortunately, is rather terrible again tonight.

The mailman delivered a little pile of stash for me today. I am on a bit of a stash diet right now, primarily because I have grown a little bored with buying stash - yet another function of OCD... full bore and then get bored... But, I am not bored with stitching :-) Anyhow, I received the little spool of Nymo from European Cross Stitch for Mystery IX, a fat quarter of 36 ct Sand Edinboro linen, Maria Van Scharrenburg's Java Dance kit, Just Nan's Christmas Wallet with embellishments, and some Weeks Dye Works and MH Treasure for Nature's Alphabet II. And... a pack of size 28 needles, always need more of those, whether or not I am stash dieting :-) Anyhow, can you believe I am bored with stash? Well, there will still be things... LOL! Right now, though, I am focused on saving for that Jeannette Douglas class at Celebrations in May :-)

Oh, and it is New DVD Release Tuesday, of course - this week, I am giving Two for the Money a try.

Stitched on today: Garden Spot Sampler

Hi Carol, your Garden spot is looking lovely and wow, it is a big piece thats for sure. I've never seen the JN Christmas wallet before - is it a limited edition one? Guess what I got in the post- ED's Nature's Alphabet 2 and PR A Christmas Spirit. Would you like to do a SAL for Nature's alphabet sometime a bit later in the year? And after seeing that you work on Christmas spirit I'm getting very tempted to kit it up myself now!! What fabric did you choose for her?

Carol, lovely progress for your Garden spot. I look forward to seeing other progresses for it and Christmas Spirit. I hope you'll stop your diet of stash soon because I love taking a look at your stash.

I've been in a stash drought as well, haven't found anything new lately that I want and don't already have, so I figure I'm better off saving my money for celebrations. I hope in the near future however to reorganize my stash - maybe that will get me back in the mood...

GSS is looking more and more lovely :)

I used to be so bad about stash buying (I mean REALLY, REALLY bad), but in the last year, I have tried to be better...not that I was bored with it-but I could have built a new house with what I was spending on stash :) SCAREY!!! LOL!

Hi Carol, Your stitching is just beautiful and your site is great, keeps me motivated. I enjoy keeping up on your stash, do you have your own personal warehouse? lol. I sent you an e-mail last week in reference to your cats, not sure if you got it or not? Keep up the great work.
