This is for Dani.... we stitched Celtic Band Sampler together along with Katrina. I know Dani is anxious to see what frame I selected for mine. Here is a closeup of its detail. I need to ask Mike to try to photograph the entire sampler today, as my efforts have been poor - the darn flash gets in the way! But here is a start for you!
And now, the three pieces I got back from the framer yesterday - with the best pics we could really get of them... the color of the fabric for Celtic Band Sampler does not look right, but we had to turn off the flash in order to avoid those horrible bursts of light in the glass :-(
As I was going through some photos just now, I decided this one from yesterday is fairly good, so I am sharing it - left to right, my niece Nicole, my niece Caitlin, my SIL Renee, and my Mom... and Nobska, who is sure growing fast! :-) This was our make up Christmas celebration as the family was on Cape Cod over the holiday. Renee's father has been very ill.
Stitched on today: Mystery IX

I can't wait to see a full picture of the sampler. Looks great so far!
Mystery sampler is filling out quickly. I've enjoyed seeing the progress so far. As for the framing...oh my! they did a wonderful job.
Oh wow that Mystery is looking beautiful ... I was sooooo tempted to join this one, maybe next years :) (considering I've still got last years Christmas one to finish! LOL).
The framing is beautiful too - I especially love Marriage of the Minds - it is definitely on my to do list, maybe for our 20th :)
Oh gosh - I love it all LOL
Mystery IX is really coming to life now. Beautiful. And those framed pictures seem to be really big project. Well done. Ann.
Your framed pieces look wonderful! The simplicity of the plain wood frame really suits them - I especially like the Lanarte one ... perhaps because I love birds :) Talking of which, I forgot to say the other day, the photo Karen sent of the cockatoos on the railing is fantastic - that's one thing that still amazes me living in Aussie - seeing the bright and tropical birds out in the wild, that I've only ever seen in the zoos before! Every night I watch big flocks of rainbow lorikeets fly over my little flat, making their squawking racket as they go - they're beautiful to watch ... they move really fast, but if you're quick enough you can get a good glimpse of their bright green bodies and red chests as they fly overhead :)
Oh I love seeing CBS all framed up. I really enjoyed watching you stitch on that one. They are all beautiful!
Awesome framing Carol. Your house is going to look wonderful with those wonderful pieces hanging on the walls!
Your framed pieces are gorgeous! Congrats on your Mystery progress.

Beautiful framing!!
The framed pieces are gorgeous Carol. Your walls must be filling up fast eh?
Wow Carol those pieces are just awesome framed!!!
They all look great, as usual! I got a small bobbin of white Nymo thread in my package from ECS. It was in the little baggie with all the beads
The frames so compliment the designs they look stunning.
