A little HOHRH update

I spent the better half of the evening finishing up a birthday gift, but then... I followed up a bit on my commitment to Houses of Hawk Run Hollow. I have managed to get a good portion of the house in Block 2 finished now. It feels good to finally be making some progress on this sampler!

Other than that, life is pretty quiet here - very, very cold and Angus is playful today... that is good!

Stitched on today: finished a gift, and Houses of Hawk Run Hollow

I know some people think this sample is a bit morbid, but I love it! There aren't very many of the primitive style samplers which catch my eye.

How do you maintain the discipline to rotate your pieces? I am in awe over your WIPs. :)

Wow, you're really inspired to get this one done soon, aren't you? Maybe I should join you and work on the Village while you're working on this one. Glad Angus is feeling playful. Must have been that kiss...

I'm glad to hear Angus seems to be feeling a bit better! :)

HOHRH is looking great! I intend to stitch it one day too (ha! How many designs do I say that about? lol) and I also want to stitch Village of HRH.

That's really awesome news about wee Angus - yippee! Your Long Dog mystery sampler is coming along beautifully too :) And it's great to see you working on HOHRH regularly again. I've done my bit on Bordeaux for the week ... just the top Rhodes grapes and one more little man, so not too much this week ;)

Your progress is amazing...everytime I see it I think that slow steady progress really makes a difference...sort of like losing weight! LOL! I can see how much you've accomplished and what a feat! Great Job as always Carol :)

HOHRH is really coming along! I'm glad you've picked this up again, I enjoy seeing it go along!

In reply to barnabee:
My plan is only once a week as well. I was thinking it would be monday
nights but i ended up not stitching last night so it's going to just be
whichever night during the week I get free to stitch, it may change but it
will be once a week. I have too many other things going on to devote more
time to barnabee, but i think it will go
quickly anyway :)
