More mystery revealed...

My scanner is not set up yet on my computer since moving it downstairs, so I had to take a digital picture tonight... Anyhow, here is a bit more of Part 1 of Mystery IX... and still quite a ways left to go!! Stitching with the Silken Perle #5 by Thread Gatherer on belfast linen was.... interesting LOL! I am hoping that if I am diligent this weekend, I can finish up Part 1. But I don't know if I am overestimating my ability to finish this by then.

It was a pretty good stash day today. I got The World of Cross Stitching, Isue 105 (December 2005), because I love the Passione Ricamo Christmas Angel... I have the chart from when it was a freebie, but I really wanted to support Laura's venture into placing it in the magazine as well :-) And, I got in the custom cut of Silkweaver Purely Primitive 40 ct linen for when the Long Dog Sampler SAL starts up. I will be stitching Paradigm Lost using Victoria Clayton's Konini silk. And, I got in the new Herrschner's Needlework Shoppe catalog too - although I never order anything from them because their shipping is very high, it is always fun to flip through the pages LOL!

It was also a great DVD day today... I received my Lost Season One DVD set from ebay (I am one of those very few people who doesn't watch Lost, but I hear great things and now plan to try to catch up!!). And the dump bin today had I.Q., Hot Shots and The Beverly Hillbillies - silly stuff I can easily stitch to!

Stitched on today: Mystery IX and Garden Spot Sampler (just for a few minutes tonight - oh, and for just a few last night too - to finish up one motif (the pewter birds near the left margin that surround the brown rust flowers... that's all)

Ohhh, it looks stunning Carol. It is nice to have an image of what mine will hopefully look like Saturday night. Hopefully, my blog will be fixed by then. My template seems to have disappeared, but Allen is trying to fix it for me without having to redo the whole thing;(

What I've found with Herrshcner's is that if you order from them, they give you breaks on shipping. For instance, I just ordered a new crochet kit and got free shipping on it.

OOh Carol. Your stitching is beautiful. You are so fast!
You are going to love Lost. My teenage daughter got hooked on it and nagged me into watching it. I finally ordered the first few episodes on Netflix. My husband and I loved it and had to get the first season on DVD. We finally caught up with the second season and are impatient for more episodes. However it might cause you to put down your cross-stitch to watch closely. So be forewarned!;)
