Before I spend the better half of the upcoming weekend finishing up Dianne's Neighborhood Round Robin, I chose to work on And A Forest Grew... I always want to work on this one. This is keeping me from restarting a rotation, which I had hoped to do once the Chatelaines were done. It looks like my desire to finish this one first will win out! I spent much of this evening stitching the little willow tree (far right bottom of the scan) tonight, but was well worth it. Pretty tree!!
Quick kitty update: all the furry ones are calming down a bit and appear to be healing today! Thanks to everyone for the well wishes! It was funny how many comments I got about Angus looking unhappy in the photo I posted yesterday. He was actually being very playful and curious - the camera never seems to snap the right attitude on a cat - LOL!
Stitched on today: Started a gift (February is the busiest month with stitchers' birthdays, so starting early!!) and And A Forest Grew

Hi Carol, I have been reading your blog for a while now and am very impressed with your stitching. I currently have And A Forest Grew kitted, and was just wondering if you are stitching yours using one thread or two.
Kind regards
Joanne
:) And a Forest Grew is way too addicting!! *lol* I can't put it down either :)
Hugs,
Kris
Lovely progress Carol!
Looks great Carol!! I love working on thos one too:) Glad your kitties are feeling better:)
Hi Carol - glad to hear hte kitties are doing well. :) Love how the Forest is coming along!
Thanks for sharing Carol and good to read that the furry ones are healing. Way to go. Ann.
And a Forest Grew is gorgeous Carol!
Know what you mean about birthays in February... :)
AaFG is stunningly beautiful. Just imagine how you could use the indivual birds and trees and beasties for other projects (such as Neighbourhood RRs, and such). I'm very glad your real life beasties are feeling better now.
I'm loving watching you work on this piece. I know you wanted to start your rotation again but, sometimes a piece just calls to you.
WOW! Carol...look how much progress you've made on the FG...I can't get over it!
AaFg looks great! I'm glad to hear the kitties are doing better.
I am for sure putting And A Forest Grew on my to buy list! It's looking great. Glad the fur family is all doing better.
Good Morning Carol:
The Forest is GROWING!! Looks wonderful.
Good to hear the kitties are feeling more like themselves ... I have one pet (lab mix dog named Buddy) that gets very anxious & at times, annoying, but we put up with him anyhow. Changes get him very upset & he chews his paws.
But, what would our households be without them?? They are fun to watch & entertain us constantly.
Your stitching is coming along beautiful. I'm half tempted to use that picture of Angus during my PMS days on my computer desktop to warn people!
Another pretty project. It seems to be moving on so fast too.
So glad the kitties have settled down now. LOL at the photo of Angus - he does look like he's frowning doesn't he. Casey always looks really snooty on photo's and she's really not like that at all.
Haces unas cosas preciosas y muy delicadas. Me gusta todo.
I can see why you don't want to put it down - it's so lovely!
Very glad the kitties are all getting better slowly - what a time you've all been having.
Hi Carol, just catching up after my days away. All your stitching is looking wonderful and so pleased to hear that your kitties are doing much better now :)
AAFG looks wonderful. I can see how it could be sooo addicting!
Glad to hear the kitties are getting back into a good groove:)
Oooh your forest is really growing :) That's funny about Angus... I thought he looked very unhappy, too! Cats can be hard to capture in pictures.
Beautiful progress on AAFG. What a pretty piece. I almost caved in and bought it yesterday! You PL is really coming along too...you have made so much progress on this one. If I could stitch half as much as you do, I would be a happy camper!
