Tonight I spent some time working on the Long Dog Samplers Mystery Sampler that just came out in The Gift of Stitching Magazine. I just love the colors on this one. But... I put it down so that now I can work on a gift that I also started earlier today - lots of PIF gifts to make, and February is a very busy month for stitchers' birthdays!
Go Pats! Our New England Patriots (ahem... the underdog today) beat the San Diego Chargers and have lived to see another week in the playoffs!
Stitched on today: Started a gift, and 18th Century Band Sampler

I can agree with you on your choice of NASCAR drivers, but being born and raised in Indiana, I'll be rooting for the Colts next weekend. ;-)
Your LD sampler looks nice. I like the colors! The stitches look so tiny and delicate.
What a gorgeous PIF from Vonna - very pretty :D Your Forest is coming along beautifully too :) And congrats on moving so quickly on the GoS design - you're right, the colours really are gorgeous! Can't wait to see next month's :D
Wow, your progress on the LDS is stunning - those colors are incredible!
I would be way too sensitive to own my own retail business. I worked in retail for YEARS during college and I'm so glad to be out of it!
wqecfYou're doing really well with the mystery sampler. I'm enjoying seeing it grow.
I finally saw the sampler in Gift of Stitching (hadn't read this months yet). I can't wait to watch you stitch along on this.
I'm going to pull out my Barnabee's Quest charts tonight and fabric, and gather my threads and stuff so I'll be all ready in February. I'm really looking forward to another SAL :)
Beautiful stitching. I have to say I was tempted to start that one myself...
OOH, I am liking the way this one is coming along, Carol! Very nice progress!
hugs to you :)
Hi Carol - I like the Long Dogs sampler, look forward to seeing it progressing! (I'll try not to disappear for months again!). And I think you are absolutely right in what you say about owning a LNS.
Beautiful!!! I have one flower done ... then I got to sick to stitch and knit a pair of socks :) Hopefully I can pick up the stitching again! I'm just diein' here *lol*
Very pretty, the colors are looking lovely. You've gotten a lot done since your last post. Hope the kitties are both still doing well.

I think I didn't tell you that I received the fabrics, and how beautiful they are! Thanks so much--they're even prettier in "person" than in their photos! Now I'll have to find the right projects to do on them...
Love the colours of the mystery sampler :) It's be interesting to see it as it grows :)
I see your progress on the Mystery Sampler...you are so much further along, but that's okay. Yes, I do love the colors! And like I said I am loving working with the linen...it's a whole new world! LOL
