Colorful Bands

I decided to work on the mystery sampler tonight. This is by far the most vibrant sampler I am working on at the moment - I just love it! It is so "me", even if the stitching is dense and takes me a while to work on even a small section. Julia Line is an amazing designer!

We are experiencing some truly bitter cold weather right now. Not much for snow, but winter is truly here.

Blogger actually forced me to upgrade to the new Blogger tonight. I guess they are now ready for bigger blogs, because they took mine... not sure I liked the whole "forced" issue, though. Has that happened to anyone else??

Stitched on today: Stitched on a gift, and 18th Century Band Sampler

Hooray! Congrats on the new Blogger! This sampler you're doing is beautiful. I love the colours. Maybe I should get a subscription to the Gift of Stitching...

I too love the colours in the mystery sampler. I subscribe to Gift of Stitching too - since last month :o) so I might do that one myself.

I wasn't forced to transfer to the new blogger, but my friend was. She wasn't happy either but I don't think it's made much difference to her blog. She didn't loose anything. Have you?

Love your sampler - looks gorgeous. The colours are very me too - someday I'll start this!

As for blogger - I haven't been forced to upgrade yet but have a funny feeling it'll happen before I know it!

Your sampler is lovely - great colours.
I wasn't forced to *upgrade* to the new version, but strongly encouraged. I haven't worked out what's better about it yet - only what's worse!

I know someone else who was 'forced' to move in the early stages ... I just moved mine over 'in case' I want it in the future (plus the RAK Registry is still in there for the timebeing). Your band sampler is looking gorgeous - can't wait to see what next month's band will be :)

They forced you? How did they do that? Annoying... You LDS mystery is looking really lovely!

Your blog is my very favorite stitching blog - and since I just started a new blog about stitching, I put your blog in as a link. I hope this is OK with you. Your work is so beautiful, you do such intricate designs, and you faithfully post each day. Thanks for being an inspiration to me.

Isn't this sampler just luscious! I have not gotten near as far done with mine as you have! I get too distracted, and I think I am taking special slow care with it as it is the first I have worked with linen. I'm still loving it and I'm inspired by your progress.
My daughter informed me that I need to get moving on it so when the 2nd part comes out I can get going on that! I'll post my progress either today or tomorrow.
