But, I don't even drink wine...

Here is this week's update of Bordeaux Sampler. I really am enjoying this band - this splash of the gold colored silk is just right for this part of the sampler. But, a confession - here I am, busily working away on a sampler dedicated to wine and the making of wine... and I do love this sampler... but, I don't really even drink wine! I do like wine. But my tolerance for alcohol is so incredibly low that one small glass makes me feel rather drunk, and then the headache and feeling tired... most folks will just drink a bit past that point so those symptoms pass, but I can't - LOL!!

I heard from Erin tonight that she has received the little birthday gift that I made for her. I know Erin likes fantasy themes, so I picked a little dragon for her... Dragon Dreams' newest freebie. Now, I don't think Erin is a fool, but she is an April baby, so I hoped the April Fool's theme would be OK :-)

You are really flying on BS, Carol! It's just stunning and the gold is lovely... I'm the same way with wine or any other alcoholic beverage... one glass and I have a head-ache and can barely keep my eyes open! LOL

I love the DD fob! Beautiful finishing!!! :-)

I'm enjoying a small glass of wine while reading a few blogs before bed! There were still dishes to be done, so I poured a glass as reward for doing my chores before having some fun time, lol. :D

And I had quite a bit to catch up on with you Carol! As always you're so busy stitching little wonders for your friends - all gorgeous.

I've been keeping watch on the weather reports for the NE - I think your area has had enough extreme weather for the year now. Hope you're keeping dry!

I'm like you...I have a *very* low tolerance for alcohol. Back in college, my friends and I used to joke that I was a cheap bar date (oh that sounds bad...you know what I mean!) LOL!

Wine or no wine, it really is a great sampler - and your progress on it is wonderful!

The April Fool dragon fob you made is adorable!

I'm with you on the wine, Carol. I like to cook with it, though, I don't really drink it much. But that doesn't keep me from stitching about it either! LOL

The yellow in BS looks nice. You don't realize that you've not had any yellow since the second band till you see it again in the band your working on.

The DD fob is so cute.

I really like the new template, perfect for summer!

This piece is really pretty. We are really into good wine but it sounds like you have an allergy to the stuff. I would stay away from it to if it gave me head aches.

Love your little fobs!

I love the band. I am a wine drinker, but occasionally. I prefer it in the winter months once it reaches 8pm and I know that I don't have to drive any of the boys anywheres. Then I will sit with one or 2 glasses while stitching and watching TV :-)
The scissor fob is adorable.

I'm with you on the wine thing. I'm not a wine drinker either....actually I'm not much of an 'anything' drinker. One sip of anything alcoholic and I'm legless, lol. I used to be able to 'tie one on' big style when I was younger. But then the kids came along and it was bad form to be a party animal so I swapped liquor for diet coke and didn't look back, lol.

Great progress and lovely fob as always Carol :)

I forgot to say yesterday....I thought I'd come to the wrong place when I saw the new layout, lol. It's looking great though!
