Thank you to everyone for your nice comments on the Chatelaine biscornu (Kathy's Violets). It took me a really long time to stitch that one, but it was worth it :-) You are all so wonderful and supportive, thank you!
Here is how my kitchen looked this morning - feeding time at the zoo! A few people have asked if I could post a photo of all six cats. Unfortunately, getting all six together for a photo is impossible... unless they are eating! LOL! So, here is the tribe - You can see Angus eating with Anouk... then my two blondes (cream, to be exact) Gig and Beau... with Ava eating alone... and Lily washing her face :-) That's the troupe :-)
I hope everyone is having a great weekend - we are preparing for a very, very heavy rain storm to come in tomorrow and linger through the week - hard to believe that the Boston Marathon is going to take place is such terrible conditions on Monday!!
Stitched on today: Finished a gift, and And A Forest Grew

My Mom is hoping the rain will continue North instead of the heavy snow that's forecast. I have my fingers crossed for her. Spring is taking her own sweet time this year, isn't she? LOL
Your little feline zoo is adorable. How wonderful to see all six of the fuzzy dears!
Wow, impressive picture of all the cats! I think I love your two calicos best :)
Beautiful work. And adorable kitties!
AAFG is such an amaaazing project! Every time I come visit, I get so jealous of your stamina with htese large projects. Rotations are wonderful things, so why not for me???
Love your little zoo there. Good luck with the storm. The world's (or Mother Nature) has gone mad: it's high summer here.
Congrats on getting to the halfway point. Love the zoo! The rain has started to hit us here in NYC-stay dry.
Woohoo, love AFG! Hope the rain bypasses you, we've had snow with a bit more in the forecast for Tuesday. The weather is wearing me out, LOL.
Wow look at everyone. What a cute picture.
Congratulations on reaching the halfway point on forest, that is quite an accomplishment. The picture of all your furbabies is very cute. I can see how it would be hard to get them all together in one shot. I'm so glad that Angus seems to be doing so well after the scare you all had.
I didn't even think about the marathon being held with all the forecasted weather moving your way. It sounds like it could be very nasty, hopefully there are no accidents because of the weather.
Sue
Congratulations on reaching the halfway point!
Your cats are beautiful :)
Wow...thank you, Carol, for the picture of your menagerie! They are all so different and so beautiful. And I'll bet each has their very own personality. :-)
And A Forest Grew is looking wonderful!
Blessings,
Julie
AAFG is amazing! I love the thought of a kitty zoo - yours are absolutely adorable!
Congrats on getting to the halfway point on your forest. It is such a stunning piece.
Love the pic of all the kitties. You have such a wonderful little brood. I have only two and they are not so nice when it comes to food. Little Zoe would be there shoving Cooper out of the way:)
The kitties are all adorable! I just want to pick one up and cuddle with it!
AAFG is looking so great, Carol!
Tabatha loves your pic of your babies.
Congratulations on your finishes and wips Carol they all look lovely. Love the photo of all your felines :)
AAFG is looking superb Carol! And just look at all those adorable kitties!
And a Forest Grew is huge!!! Keep up the good work, Carol! :)
And I love seeing all FIVE of your babies in one shot - they are so cute. I wouldn't be suprised if you had to check the sofas/chairs every time you sat down to avoid plopping down on one of them! lol
Thank you for the cat photo Carol.
If only I can cuddle all 6 of them at one go.
Congratulations on getting all six cats in one shot! They're all gorgeous.
Oh, look at all of the beautiful kitties! I just want to pick them all up and give them a big hug, which would be immediately followed by swollen eyes and sneezing. Guess I'll have to leave the snuggling up to you. :)
Wow Six cats!!! How many litter boxes ;-)
AAFG is looking stunning, Carol! :-)
Love all your sweet fur-babies... they are so precious!
