Wine, Wine, Wine...(But No Whine)

Just another little stitching update tonight. Bordeaux Sampler this time. This is such a pretty band - very delicate.

Other than that, life is just quiet and serene. I am, however, a bit nervous about some gifts that are out in the mail and have not arrived where they should - most especially one sent to Italy more than two weeks ago now. Hopefully all will arrive soon.

Oh, here is a clip of my brother in law on Two and a Half Men - when Judith (the bride) comes down the aisle and appears shocked to see Charlie (Charlie Sheen) in the wedding party, the camera goes to Ryan Stiles the groom - the grey haired gentleman pursing his lips tightly together over Ryan's shoulder is my BIL :-) You can see him again (he is the best man) a little later in the video at the altar. Sorry the lip sync is so poor on this!

I don't want to worry you Carol, but have you seen the postal rules about sending needlework to Italy? There was a thread on Legacy a little while ago about it - the stuff they don't allow is....

"Haberdashery and sewn articles of any kind, including trimmings and lace; handkerchiefs; scarves; shawls, needlework including stockings and gloves; bonnets, caps, and hats of any kind."

Did you write needlework on the customs declaration?

I sympathize with your mail woes, Carol. I sent a pretty big birthday packet to the US nearly a full month ago and it still hasn't arrived. I wish I'd sent it insured now!!!

BS looks wonderful. Your stitching is, as always, gorgeous.

Your postman and mine are always so lovely and fast, they work so well together! I suppose that's why having to wait for more than a week for a package to arrive has us worrying :o) I sent another package to the US weeks ago, and it hasn't arrived yet either!
Bordeaux is a marvel!

The clip is too cool! I bet that was a really fun job. Thanks for sharing, I meant to watch but something happened(probably related to a child:) and I didn't get a chance. I am with you on the mail stuff. I am awaiting word that a package I sent to the Middle East arrived. I'll will keep my fingers crossed for both of us. P.S. Your work is so beautiful as usual. I can't wait to see Paradise Lost and Bordeaux sampler completed. (please forgive my spelling errors)
