Dawn

Here is Dawn, once again. Tonight she graduated from the small Q-Snap to the large one. She is just so sparkly, I adore her! She is not very large at all, and she continues to move along quickly.

Thank you to everyone who left such nice comments about the biscornu I sent in the FGBB Biscornu Exchange. So many have written here, in my email and on the Chatelaine Design Board (where it is also posted) that they love it, but fear they cannot make one. Please, don't be so worried! If you can backstitch and whipstitch, you most assuredly can make a biscornu! There are some fantastic tutorials right here on the internet. You can do it! I learned using this link at Annette's_Acre - please, give it a try :-)

Oh... before I forget, Mike's brother, Steven, will be on Two and a Half Men on Monday, April 16th at 9 PM eastern time. Mike's brother lives in LA and does walk on acting parts as a career... in this episode, Steven plays the best man at Alan's ex-wife's wedding. Take a peek on the 16th! :-)

Dawn is so pretty and delicate looking, I really enjoy seeing your updates of her. As to the biscornu, I hope to make one sometime this year, but I think you are downplaying your finishing skills on this, I don't think when mine gets done the finishing will be as polished looking. Since you mention it was also posted on the Chatalaine board I'm assuming it is one of her patterns. Which one of the Chatalaine's did you use for the design on the biscornu? It really is awesome.

Dawn is very pretty - the pictures don't really show her sparkle - but I bet she shines :)

How cool to have an actor in the family - must be fun keeping watch for his roles :)

Dawn is so pretty. I love all the flowers on her. I have abiscornu in my stash to do. I'm just waiting to get to NH to get the fabric to do it on.

How cool about your BIL on 2 and a half men. I'll have to remember to look for him.

Dawn is really coming along nicely Carol!! How pretty!! My brother too is kind of in the showbiz business. He is the video tape editor at CBS in Hollywood for The Bold and the Beautiful soap opera. He has been nominated for an emmy award along with two other guys that work with him for editing in a dramatic daytime series. Maybe he and Mike's brother should meet someday. I want to be sure to watch on the 16th to see Mike's brother! Thanks for sharing! Debby :)

I hope to try my hand at a biscornu soon... Thanks for your encouragement! All your finishes are so beautiful!

And how cool that Mike's brother is going to be on Two and a Half Men! I'll be sure and watch it on the 16th! :-)
