Since it is Thursday, I was able to spend some time with Dawn again tonight. I am hoping my SAL partner will show an update of her own some time soon, too. Dawn continues to move along well and she is just so beautiful and delicate.Nicole let me know today that she received the birthday gift that I stitched for her. I first saw this fob in Dani's blog a little while back. She had stitched this fob as a class at a festival in Canada. So, I figured I would never get a shot at it - until the two charts for it were recently released on PatternsOnline - I immediately grabbed them up and knew it was a perfect gift for Nicole to commemorate our two recent SAL's - Legends of the Dragons and Kingdom Sampler. I am thrilled that Nicole likes this :-)
And, a thank you to Dianne for this sweet ATC (Art Trading Card) that she sent to me. It took a very slow route from Pennsylvania to here... but it did arrive safely and I think it is so unique - and was so sweet of her. I used an old kitty desk calendar and went through the entire thing and there was only one black Persian and not that many other Persians-so it was meant that I make it for you. I'm glad you finally received it. Maybe it was the small envelope.

Oh I just love that fob! Now I want to make it, too! I'm kind of partial to sun/moon/stars themes...we used that kind of decor for our girls' nurseries. Baby still has her starry curtains, although the 4 year old has graduated on to other decor.

Dawn is so pretty! I had to comment also because I just saw the end of the Red Sox/Yankees game and it was awesome! I thought you must be happy with that outcome! It was a good night for both of us because my Braves beat the Mets too! :)
The fob turned out great, I really like the two sides on it. The kitty did remind me of Angus as soon as I saw it, what a fun trading card surprise to receive.

i am loving the work you are doing on the passione ricamo. the fabirc is gorgeous too. i am wanting to stitch my mirabilia mermaids on hand dyed fabric but have not took the leap yet. i think not seeing them in person is probably wavering me whether or not to get them, but your looks really good. WELL DONE!!
