Dawn Update

Blogger didn't want to upload this photo tonight - feeling lucky the other two still went up.... been a long time since Blogger has acted this way. Anyhow, here is Dawn for this week - she is getting shaplier. I think she looks a bit anorectic looking though.
I busted out and bought a threadpack from Jenna's new ONS. I was feeling a bit down in a biochemical kind of way last week... so I had a tiny bit of retail therapy. I have been dying to toss some business Jenna's way since she opened. This isn't much, but I bought something :-)

I got this Disney chart recently in one of the UK cross stitching magazines. I have no children and my nieces are 13-18 years old now. Having nobody for whom to stitch this cute design, I am offering this foldout chart to the first person who requests it - anyone want it?Chart adopted

Off to bed a little earlier tonight - have to get up early for a psychotherapy conference in Manchester. Wonder how the roads will be - we had a bit of snow this evening after a day of sleet... yep, they say it is April....

Stitched on today: Finished a gift, started a gift, and Dawn, Fairy Spirit of Grace

That Pooh chart is really cute;my daughter would love it. BUT, I know I'd never in a million years have the time to stitch it. Nice of you to offer; I'm sure you'll find a good home for it :)

Dawn is sure getting prettier & prettier by the minute!

Good luck at the conference - I hope the roads are bare (and that they stay that way!).

The Pooh chart is adorable and I'm sure you'll find a happy home for it. :)

Dawn looks STUNNING!

I'll take the chart if no one else has claimed it-I love Eeyore!
Hope you have a good session.

Danw is a bit thin to my taste, I have to admit. Other than that, she's gorgeous!
The Pooh chart isn't really my thing. It might be Pelle's, but since I will never stitch it for him, we will never know...
Take care on the roads today. Wishing some of our summer weather will fly over to NH very soon!

Dawn is looking a little thin...maybe as you get more of her stitched she will 'fatten up.' :)

Hope the roads are ok for you today. We ended up getting nothing but, rain yesterday when they said we'd get snow.

Are you and I the only ones who actually use the word anorectic? I wrote a report on anorexia and bulimia back in high school--when information was newly emergent--and that was the term. Now it's all anorexic this and anorexic that. Anorectic is such a better word. Thanks for using it!

I am loving Dawn! Great progress on her. Good luck with the roads - stay safe and warm! I've been itching to get some more of those thread packs too (I only have watermelon)...good idea to get them from Jenna. I keep going over and looking at the threads she had too - so pretty!

Dawn is looking great! I love your strawberry design you bought. Is it a pinkeep or a picture?

Dawn is looking gorgeous. If she was a real person I'd say she was to thin, but I've always pictured fairies as being wispy and insubstantial, so I think it works for her. I love the Strawberries you just got. That one is on my list too, fun colors and the bunnies are just sooooo cute.
