I just met Caroline today - turns out she lives one town over from me in Sandown, NH - we met through the New England Cross Stitchers group. It turns out we are both at various stages of stitching Bag Ladies by Braldt Bralds. We have talked about encouraging each other to both finish this project. Here is how mine looks to date. I started it in 1999 or 2000. It is a kit, but I swapped out the aida fabric for Confederate Gray Cashel. When we sold our house in 2000, this got packed away. I never got back to it, even though there is not that much further to go! Now with Caroline and I swapping encouragement, I think I can get this done!
