Mystery IX Finished!

Le Potager du Roi (Mystery IX)

Chatelaine

Lavender Bliss belfast linen

NPI silk, Caron Waterlilies, Thread Gatherer Silk 'n Colors, Thread Gatherer Silken Pearl, Gloriana Silk, Rainbow Gallery Petite Treasure Braid, Swarovski Crystals, Miyuki Delicas beads

Stitched 1/1/06 - 12/28/06

Angus Update: Angus had his surgery today. The surgeon called Mike right after she finished. She reported that there were no complications with the surgery and that she is "cautiously optimistic" about his recovery. I have to call the doctor at the emergency clinic tomorrow. I really wanted to call tonight for an update, and probably could have, but I am following directions... and kept busy with finishing Mystery IX... so, more info tomorrow! Mike and I both want to know, though, how this will improve his ability to void. He thinks the surgeon said that she flushed out his bladder, and all looked good. That should help!

Stitched on today: Finished a gift, and finished Mystery IX - oh boy, it really is sparkly :-)

Wooohooooooo! You go girl! Do you like it now that it's finished? And did you actually use all of the fibers that were in the kit? It looks absolutely gorgeous! Congratulations on this momentous finish! :)

Yay! Total happy dance now that this is done. And it is very pretty. I like how it all came together at the end (like they usually do).

Sending healing vibes to Angus, poor baby. Saying a little prayer for him as well.

: )

Congratulations!!! It looks great! I second Jenna in curiosity - did you get to use all those threads after all?

That sounds like hopeful news for Angus. Maybe they washed out some stones somehow. Hope so. Poor little mite. Hugs for you and him.

Yeah Big Happy Dance for you. It looks great.
I will think some more of Angus to make sure he will be ok. Also a hug from Sjors for him.

Wow. Are ya glad it's done? :o)

I broke down and signed up for #14 so I'm curious about the fibers as well. Didja kit it up yourself? Buy the kit?

It is beautiful. And I'm still wishing good thoughts towards Angus.

Happy New Year!

Hi Carol, congrats on your finish! Like always I'm so amazed with your finishes! I'm so sorry about your kitty. I know how hard it is to have a sick pet. Like my MIL always says - it's just money! I hope he has a complete recovery! Take care and congrats again!

Oh Carol your Mystery XI is just really really beautiful!! I have been tempted to do a Chatelaine design with the peacocks on it but have never done one. My LNS doesn't have many of those but I could order one sometime.

I am so glad that Angus is done with the surgery! He should do better because the stones are now gone and the inflamed part of the urethrea has probably been removed. I so hope that he is doing well and will be coming home very soon!! We are all coming in to see his progress! I am so glad he has such a caring owner!! Debby

Excellent stitching! I know you are probably thrilled with it too.
I'm about to ask Veronica if I can mail off the NRR that's been kicking around here since October. I'm anxious to finish the NRRs up this year as I sure you are too.
I hope Angus is feeling better. My sister-in-law had bladder surgery and has been suffering from that for a week. Hopefully they can figure out her problem-but she seems to be running almost parallel with poor Angus.

Congratulations Carol! It looks great! I'm very impressed that you managed to stitch two Chatelaine mandalas within such a short time.

I'm glad to hear that Angus surgery went well. Hopefully he'll be home soon.

Wow! That's an amazing accomplishment - what beautiful stitching, Carol! I'm sure it must be even more so in person as photographs just don't do justice to beads at all.
