Convent's Herbal Garden

I am finally back to stitching on Convent's Herbal Garden on Fridays... but I didn't really get much done tonight (though may try to do a little more later). Just can't sit still. There is a lot of nervous tension in the house today - has been all day. Mike is not feeling well, some health issues are bothering him today. Not fun.

I did spend some time today getting some of my upcoming projects kitted up, and realized I needed some Mill Hill beads and a spool of Kreinik #4 braid. I was lucky enough to get both from the same ebay seller. And, I also purchased Just Nan's Porcelain Nosegay today, as I realized the buttons are no longer available, so it won't be available much longer at all. I think it will make a great box topper or small framed piece to give as a gift, so I made sure to get mine :-)

I also got in another of the cuts of 25 ct lugana today for an HAED design...

I was able to finally get to the PO today, and I sent packages off to Karen K., Karen B., Leslie, Nikki and Becky, as I had promised them... whew!

Congratulations to Ryan Newman! Ryan won his fifth straight Busch Series race tonight at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte, North Carolina. Very exciting! The only thing that could be better would be for him to win the Nextel Cup race there tomorrow night (he needs the points, as he is 75 points behind Tony Stewart right now!). (photos are from www.nascar.com) ....But my rally monkey did the Angels no good tonight... sigh.

Wonderful work on your herbal garden piece Carol. I hadn't seen it before, so was amazed at how the design will be when it's complete.
