Tonight was week #3 of the Garden Spots Sampler SAL with Jo, and here is tonight's progress as I continue to work my way out from the middle of the sampler. I got to use a couple of new colors tonight. I liked that :-) I just wish this sampler would photograph better - it is more vibrant and lovely in person!
Here is a pic of the Silkweaver Solo that came in yesterday - perhaps you can see that it is a pale blue with periwinkle in it.... and the baggie of Kreiniks and beads for Royal Holiday that came in a few days ago too :-)
The Red Sox/White Sox game today was ugly, ugly, ugly for the Red Sox. Unfortunately, I have feared that our weak pitching would become an issue, and it sure did this afternoon. Hats off to the White Sox, honestly. They played their hearts out, while the Red Sox simply did not. I hope they can pull this back together... ugly, ugly, ugly. (The White Sox beat the Red Sox up, 14-2).
New DVD Release Tuesday again! This week, The Interpreter gets a chance...

I hope you enjoy The Interpreter. Paul and I really like it. Your Earth Angel is coming along so nicely. I REALLY need to pick mine up again. Thanks for the news about Bono I'd read it just a few minutes befor I read your message on my blog.
Carol, thank you, I read your post and I'll take it into consideration next time. I love your Garden Spots Sampler, it's turning out lovely even if I can see only the picture! About our SAL, ok, we can start it next year, when you prefer. I'm thrilled about it!
*so jealous of your stash* GS looks great! Is it regular DMC? It seems to have a nice sheen to it. :)
Oooo your Wips are coming along nicely this week, and sooo love your stash too. I have just order Earth Angel for myself as I want to get it started when it arrives I just have to get the material and threads now then I get started.
Hugs xxxxxxx
I am with you on the Sox Carol - not pretty. Are they going back to being heartbreakers? I hope not! The Garden piece is so pretty - what fantastic colors. By the way, where are you in the Granit state? I lived in Merrimack.
GS looks great Carol and you got to use the hot pink - I'm so jealous! I wasn't feeling well last night so didn't get much done on mine. Hopefully I'll get a little more done tonight so I don't get behind. Pete bought the Cinderella DVD today - he said it was for me but I know it was really for him!
Ouch, painful loss for the Red Sox! Yikes. Nice stash additions, what are you going to use the Solo for again?
Hi Carol, I watched the Interpreter just the other day - really enjoyed it. Your Garden spots looks lovely so far, look forward to seeing how you progress on this one.
Looking really wonderful, Carol ...as is EA :)
