Irises and Christmas?

Holiday or not, it is still Christmas Ornament SAL weekend... so... here is mine. I started it last night, and if I am lucky, I will get the finishing done tomorrow ;-)

And, just to prove that it is not actually Christmas time, and that it truly is spring here... well, it is still early for my zone 5 garden to truly be in bloom, here are a few I found abloom today:

Happy Memorial Day to my US friends!

Stitched on today: Stitched on a gift, and on Homespun Christmas

A lovely little finish.

Your spring flowers are always so pretty. There's next to nothing flowering in my garden, so it's nice to see some blooms on your blog! :-)

Its so nice to see pictures of spring from your neck of the woods. I still recall the bad winter you've had. As I type this I am reminded of a comment you made a while back about your clients having trouble making ends meet. I am 32, single and work for the feds. I do okay, but honestly, I'm a bit scared about the unknown. Love your blog. Julie
