Serenity

I pulled Serenity back out again tonight. I am ashamed of myself that I love doing the inner motifs and dread doing the border right about now. I need some motivation to do that part!

Tough night tonight - am fasting because of bloodwork in the AM... fun, fun, fun. On a brighter note, the weather has been outstanding lately!

Stitched on today: Stitched on part of Spring Exchange, and on Serenity **Mailed out SBEBB Feathered Friends exchange today

'Serenity' sure looks good even if it isn't producing much motivation - borderwise. And low blood sugars from fasting won't help! Good luck. Margaret S

Hi hon - boat houses work for me!!! Your Serenity is looking good. Congrats on your anniversary and the finish of House Samplings. Your little scissor fob is precious.

Hi! I just wanted to stop by and say that I am completely addicted to your Hello Neighbor! blog. What am I going to do when all of the RR's are finished?

Thanks for sharing it with eneryone.

Hi Carol - I hope that the bloodwork comes out good. Is everything okay?

Serenity is gorgeous. And I'm not a big fan of borders, either!

Funny you should mention borders - I always thought if I stitched this piece it would be 'without' the border and then I saw Edgar's finished piece!

Serenity is looking wonderful Carol, such rich, bold colours :) Try alternating one length of thread on the border with one length on a more fun part, it's working for me with the house of WMHB.

That border does look like a bit daunting! But your stitching is lovely!

I don't blame you a bit about stitching the border. I think I'd rather stitch the motifs too! I absolutely love this piece and hope to do it someday. Looks great!!
